A new year can bring a craving for change in the home. With the Christmas decorations packed away and the Winter Solstice behind us, we love to freshen our interiors to reflect this new phase. It doesn’t have to be a major overhaul of your space; just a few artful updates can signal the seasonal change and we’ve chosen pieces from our spring collection to help set the mood.
Ruffle tea towels
A much-underrated accessory in the kitchen, we love seeing crisp tea towels hanging in the kitchen. Our new ruffle linen tea towels come in a gingham check and a dark lilac, pretty pieces to bring warm shades into the room, especially in the kitchen.
Willow laundry basket
If we must do laundry every day, let’s make it elegant. As the clothes and bedding wait to be ironed, fold them in our new willow laundry basket – a handmade storage item that looks lovely placed on the floor or a worktop. When it’s not filled with laundry, use it to store towels.
White ceramics
Freshen up meal times with our white patterned ceramics, new for spring 2024. From afar these look minimal but up close they’re imprinted with delicate botanical outlines. From the silhouette of a rosemary sprig on the cake plates to a bountiful display on the dinner plates, these intricate pieces will instantly elevate your tableware.
Rustic vessels
Vases of blooms are a mood-boosting update to the home at this time of year. We have introduced three rustic new shapes to our collection this month, including an urn vase and a scalloped teardrop vessel. Hand thrown by Alice Passingham in her studio on the South Coast.
Green linen cushions
Changing your cushion covers is such a simple switch to bring a whole new look to your sofa. Our new linen cushions are a grounding shade of green, with a touch of whimsy in the pom pom detailing.
Linen bedding
A new set of bedding can shake up your bedroom, even refreshing the pillow cases can have a huge impact. Layer our rose ruffled linen pillowcase against the white version for a gentle contrast. The natural fibres mean this bedding looks elegantly lived-in from the moment you make the bed.
Candles
Group a new set of candles together in the bedroom, on the mantlepiece, on your dining table for an instant lift. Our candles are made from a beeswax blend in calming colours of green, pink and red and this month we introduce a new scalloped candleholder, which pairs beautifully with our rustic vases.
