Just over a year ago, a parcel made its way from our studio to the south of France – containing carefully wrapped pieces from the Sorbet Living collection. These hand-picked items were destined for a special project with food and lifestyle stylist Frankie Unsworth – a creative whose work we have followed and loved for many years.
That parcel became part of At Home in Provence, the beautiful new book by Jeany Cronk of Maison Mirabeau, published by Quadrille Books and available now just in time for summer entertaining. With photography by Lizzie Mayson, this gorgeous book is a love letter to life in Provence – its food, the rhythms of life there, the area’s quiet elegance – and of course, its wine.
It is such a joy to see Sorbet Living pieces styled in these sunlit settings, on Provençal tables and in slow summer moments – Frankie’s thoughtful styling has brought the items to life and tied them perfectly to the region. The book is as evocative as it is practical, with 60 recipes ranging from rustic to coastal, wine pairings to culinary dishes, and short essays delving into life in France.
At Home in Provence is a summer must and one to keep close throughout the summer, and all year-round for everyday inspiration.
