Each year, we launch new seasonal collections designed with a longer life in mind – pieces chosen not for a passing moment, but to be layered, added to and lived with for years to come. It’s an approach that helped us grow into a destination for considered living, trusted by a community who return season after season to build a home that feels entirely their own.
Colour is the handwriting of Sorbet Living. Our signature palette of sorbet shades – the soft pastels of Italian gelato, the gentle green of Tuscan hillsides, the sun-warmed terracotta of ancient rooftops – runs through every collection, giving each piece a sense of place and warmth.
We travel across Europe and the UK to find unique pieces from creative makers and independent companies, many preserving techniques passed down through generations. Every product we choose carries our own handwriting; a considered point of view and a story behind its making, coordinated so that pieces bought seasons apart still sit beautifully together.
Sustainability is woven into how we work. We choose our makers, materials and processes with care, so that beautiful design and responsible living can sit comfortably side by side.

Founder Debbie Gent brings industry expertise and a love for beautifully crafted pieces to the brand – a fascination rooted in childhood visits to factories with her father, and honed over a career spanning a decade in fashion buying and twenty years buying homewares. It was a buying trip to Florence and its sun-warmed colours that first shaped the Sorbet Living palette, and in 2021 that passion became a brand of its own.
Beyond our online shop, Sorbet Living is a destination in its own right. Our store invites you to slow down and experience the collections in person – a true rural lifestyle escape, and the perfect place to see, touch and feel the details that make each piece special.
