Embracing Summer
After what felt like an extended phase of hibernation, Summer 2023 has arrived and we are embracing sunny days with our new collection. Photographed in a quintessential English meadow as the weather began to warm, Sorbet Living welcomes thoughtfully-chosen pieces in soft shades for entertaining, interior styling and joyful everyday living this summer.
We continue our love for the simple yet special ritual of afternoon tea. The prettiest teapot and matching cups and saucers have arrived at Sorbet Living, in pastel pink crafted from Limoges porcelain. This timeless crockery set makes every tea time a treasured occasion.
Plates to serve cake and desserts deserve some thought. This season we have chosen plates to celebrate summery treats with a pleasing colour palette, in the perfect size with a heritage story behind the porcelain. Our dessert plates are made by hand in a traditional process by Ist London, with gorgeous rounded edges and a light glaze coming in three mellow shades – pink, yellow and turquoise. Take the classic approach with one colour or playfully mix them together for a summery sorbet feel.
We introduce lightweight wine glasses to our tableware, a lovely size for everything from crisp Rosé and celebratory fizz to fruity sangria and cooling cordials. Summer inspires us to dine outdoors; croissants and coffee in the morning sun, long lunches in the shade and al fresco dinners while the sun sets. Our white fringed tablecloth is the beautiful base for every meal, with its pre-washed linen and delicate fringing.
